Dogs are a photographer's best friend. They are all curious and handsome, in their own ways; and most enjoy posing for the camera once they understand what you want them to do.

For the past twenty-five years, my wife and I have always had at least one dog, and sometimes as many as five, in our home. They have all been mixed breeds and homeless: no designer dogs in our collection.
